Document Integration

Overview

The Document Integration module allows for MAGNET to seamlessly integrate with a supported third party document management solution. This allows for users to add files to MAGNET and have them be synchronized with the external application and fill out any supported "templates" or document information in the remote system. Additionally, documents added to the third party software(if proper information is available) will also show in the MAGNET software.

Laserfiche Integration

  • Automatically send and retrieve documents from MAGNET to Laserfiche.

  • The ability to configure dynamic Laserfiche folder using MAGNET data fields.

  • Laserfiche Template data can be automatically filled out when documents are pushed to Laserfiche.

  • MAGNET generated reports can be configured to automatically synch on creation.

Document Upload

When uploading a document (Select action > Add Document), you will see a checkbox labeled "Synchronize to folder:" with a select box at the end.

When checked, the uploaded documents will automatically be synced to the folder selected in the drop-down.

Document Right-Hand Side(RHS)

The document list on the RHS will include a new icon next to the file name. The icon will change in appearance and color to indicate the sync status of the document.

Grey - Disconnected

This icon indicates that this particular document has not been synchronized to the remote server.

Clicking this icon will attempt to synchronize this document with the document integration server.

Green - Connected

This icon indicates that the document was synced successfully and is contained in the remote server.

Clicking this icon will desync this document and remove it from the document integration server.

Blue - Remote

This icon indicates that a document was found on the remote server and was linked to this case, but does not exist in MAGNET.

Red - Error

This icon indicates that there was an error when attempting to synchronize the document.

Clicking this icon will attempt to resynch the document with the server. If the issue persists, please contact CSI Support at csi4help.com. The most common cause for sync failures are changes to the document templates(Making new fields required, etc.)
