This section details the different functionalities available to MAGNET Administrators. These functionalities allow users, that have administrator permissions, to change some product configurations (such as inspection limits or blackouts) as well as manage other users access to the software (such as adding or removing user accounts).

 

User Management

The MAGNET User Management module allows for the managing of users that can access the MAGNET Backoffice.

Condition Management

Case Conditions allow for creating conditions that can be used throughout the MAGNET system, by assigning the conditions to cases as needed.

Conditions can allow for easier generation of needed “Standard Conditions” documents, as well as prevent users from taking actions on cases (Issuing, Scheduling Final Inspections, Issuing COO Documents) until required conditions have been completed.

Blackout Dates

Blackout dates allow for the preventing of scheduling on one or more days outside of the standard allowed schedule. For example, if the default inspection configuration allows for scheduling from 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday, however you will be closed on a Tuesday and do not want any inspections scheduled on this date, the blackout feature will allow for the blocking of scheduling on the date specified. Blackout Dates can also be used to prevent scheduling on days that a certain department does not perform inspections. For Example, if the Building department does not perform inspections on Fridays, this feature can be used to black out every Friday for just the Building section.

Work Limits

This feature prohibits the number of inspections that can be created on a certain day depending on the number of stops

Notification Administration

The Notification Admin module allows for the configuring and managing of supported notifications in MAGNET.
