After the inspection has been done in the field, the results of the inspection can be entered into the MAGNET system by selecting the “Record Results” tab
After clicking on this tab, you will be able to record any comments made on the inspection, as well as upload any images taken, if applicable, and set the final result of the inspection
Setting inspection result
The overall result of the inspection can be set by selecting one of the available statuses from the top of the inspection result entry.
Adding a comments
The inspection supports an unlimited number of comments. Any issues identified during the inspection should be entered as separate comments.
To record a comment, first, enter the issue or note in the “Result Comments” field
Once the comment has been typed in, you can add the comment to the inspection by clicking on the “Add” button
This will add the new comment to the inspection and allow the addition of any additional comments
You are also able to attach images to comments to help identify issues recorded to the citizen. This can be done while adding the comment or afterward.
To add an image while adding initially adding the comment, simply use the “Add and Attach” button to allow for the selection of an image. If a comment has already been added and you need to attach an image to it, simply use the “Add New” button on the corresponding comment.
This will show the image underneath the comment as shown below
Recording Result
After the status has been set and all comments added, the inspection can be recorded by clicking on the “Record Results” button
This will record the result and update the inspection accordingly. Additionally, the inspection on the inspections tab screen will update to reflect the completion of the inspection and the status selected. This inspection was Failed
