If you want to view upcoming inspections or those done previously you can use the tabs at the bottom.

  • HIstory
    • Shows inspections completed in the last 3 days
  • Today
    • Default tab.
    • Shows the inspections scheduled to be completed today
  • Future
    • Shows any inspections scheduled to be done in the next 3 days
  • Requests
    • Shows any inspections that have been assigned to you, but not yet scheduled


The right portion of the screen, shows the map of your current location. If the inspections on the device have address information, selecting an inspection will show it on the map.

On the top bar, te following options are available(In order, left to right)

  • Sync
    • Tapping this, will force the application to sync up any data from the iPad as well as bring down any new inspections from the back office
  • Reorder
    • This allows you to reorder the list of inspections in the left pane
  • Add New Inspection
    • This allows you to create a new inspection from the application
  • Settings
    • This menu allows the user to logout of the application

    • Note

      If you logout, all the data on the iPad will be erased. Only logout after successfully syncing all data to the MAGNET Backoffice.

2. Click the inspection you would like to complete and click the "Open" button to go into the inspection.

4. If you take a picture, it MUST have a comment associated with it.

5. Once you typed up all of your comments, you can click the "Complete Inspection" button.

6. Clicking the "Complete Inspection" button will allow you to pass or fail the inspection.

7. For this situation, we'll pass the inspection. Click on the "Pass" option and a popup will come up that'll ask if there is a reinspection required and the recipients that would be emailed of the results.

8. The inspection has been completed (in this case it was approved) with the results being recorded.
